Objective
The challenge of selling fragrances online is that customers cannot physically smell the product before purchasing. Therefore, the look, feel, and usability of the website and Mobile Design are crucial in providing a luxurious and intuitive user experience.
The goal of this project was to redesign the desktop, responsive web, and native app interfaces to create a visually appealing and user-friendly environment that matches the industry standards of beauty and retail websites.
Approach
To begin, I conducted a thorough UX audit of the existing website using Nielsen Norman’s 10 Usability Heuristics to assess its visual tone and style. The current site was overly text-heavy and included a distracting hover feature. My focus was on simplifying the layout and providing users with more control over their navigation.

inspiration
I researched current UI trends in the beauty industry by exploring platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, and popular beauty apps. This research guided the design choices to ensure the final product felt modern, elegant, and functional.

Wire-framing
I started by sketching the desktop wireframe, focusing on a clean, user-centered layout. The design was then adapted to responsive and native app versions, ensuring consistency across all devices.

Figma Mockups
I created high-fidelity mockups in Figma for all platforms, using Unsplash images to capture the brand’s luxurious aesthetic. These designs emphasized accessibility, with clear navigation and a seamless user experience.

Desktop Homepage
The refreshed homepage offers two key pathways for users: a prominent 'Shop Now' button for direct access to product pages or a carousel feature that allows users to browse by fragrance family, helping them find scents they prefer. The design is minimalist yet functional, focusing on user control and ease of navigation.
